Many things, actually. But one overriding factor is that GW has always been full of students that find this type of garbage interesting or worth writing.
It might be worse than G-Scene. One thing is for sure though... if the blossoming of intelligent GW blogs like The Colonialist (or *cough* *cough* the Patriot) is a sign of progress on campus, what are Inside GW and G-Scene signs of? The apocalypse?
